Katlehong police’s acting station commander Col Nomthandeki Mthembu was impressed with the arrests made by police members during a stop-and-search operation, held last Monday.
The operation, conducted by members of the Katlehong police’s Crime Prevention Unit, saw 10 suspects being arrested for various offences.

Charges included possession of drugs (including nyaope and dagga) and house break-in and theft.
The officers were thanked for their continued efforts and encouraged to continue their hard work.

The accused all appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
