Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Elderly treated the Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk to warm soup and rolls to combat the cold winter’s day last Friday.
Not only did the members of the youth desk enjoy a warm meal but also entertainment presented by Rest-a-While’s line dancing members.
Tshegofatso Maponya from the youth desk explained the role of the entity in the community and the challenges they face.
“The Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk plays a big part in the community, they help create a safer environment for the youth and other community members, and they’re doing an amazing job,” said Trudy Carreira, manager of Rest-a-While.
