Striving to help the community

The Elsburg Sector One CPF hosted a successful monthly meeting recently.

Elsburg Sector One CPF, which monitors Tedstoneville, Cruywagen Park, Elsburg, Estera, Klippoortjie and Mimosa Park, recently held a public meeting.

The community who attended were treated to a talk by a representative from the Pink Ladies Organisation, who spoke about what the organisation does, how the community can report missing people and how they can help when someone is missing.

During the Elsburg Sector One CPF monthly meeting Corrie Vos was named Most Active Block Leader.

After the informative talk the CPF handed out several awards which included Most Active Block Leader (Corrie Vos), Most Active Patroller (Vossie Vorster) and Most Active Patrol Vehicle, which was awarded to Tina Kapp.

Vossie Vorster was named Most Active Patroller at the the Elsburg Sector One CPF monthly meeting.

The CPF also reminded the community of the group’s charity efforts which include providing food and clothing to families and individuals in need.

“If you know of a family or person that is really in need please let us know by calling or sending a message to 072 766 1613.

“If you wish to remain anonymous that is also fine just leave the address and number of people in the household and we will make sure that they get the help they need,” explained Cecile Rademeyer, public relations officer for the Elsburg Sector One CPF.
