Tebbutts Academy participated in the Galaxy Challenge hosted by the International Sport Fighting Organisation on June 2 at the Barnard Stadium Indoor Centre in Kempton Park.
Dojos from across the province showcased their talents in the point fighting, continuous fighting, kata and musical weapons divisions.
“Twelve members took part in the competition and we knocked up 32 medals.
“Our success in this tournament proves that our aggressive championship training will be beneficial to us going forward,” said Kanchu Alex Tebbutt.
The club will be taking part in the Great North Championships in August in preparation for the National Mixed Martial Arts ISKA Championships to be held in Cape Town in September.
