Criminals targeted in Primrose

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 32 suspects between May 17 and 23.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

The accused were arrested for a number of different offences.

Charges included possession of drugs, possession of suspected stolen property, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, rape, driving under the influence of alcohol, domestic violence, armed robbery, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, fraud, shoplifting, contempt of court and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose SAPS’s station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
