Noting that theft of motor vehicles, house break-ins and theft are on the rise in Wychwood and Malvern East, a team from the Primrose Police Station recently visited the area.
Officers, with the help of members of the Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk, visited the area to educate and warn the community about the crimes which are of concern in the area.

“A door-to-door campaign was held in the hope of sensitising our community to the crimes affecting their sector,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
During the visit 600 safety tip pamphlets were distributed.
“We hope that the community will take the safety tips to heart and use them to their advantage.

“We once again appeal to the community not to park their vehicles on the pavements and to invite their visitors to park inside their yards even if they are only visiting for a short period of time,” said Maome.
