A man working as a security guard at a tavern in Malvern East was recently shot and killed.
“Officers were called to the scene where they found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

“Paramedics were summoned to the scene and declared the man dead,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, the communications officer for the Primrose police.
Police opened a murder case following the death and soon made an arrest.

“A 36-year-old man was arrested in connection with the murder,” Maome said.
The accused was taken to the Primrose Police Station where he was charged with murder.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
