Hawk Academy accepted a mobile library donation from prominent donors at their school on Thursday morning.
According to the school’s principal Agnes Mkhonto, one of the donors, Abcon Group Foundation has been a significant part of the growth and development of Hawk Academy and through their partnership with Topshell, a manufacturing company; they donated a library container to the school.
“We wanted to be a part of this initiative to make a difference in the children’s lives,” said Gert Peens of Topshell.
“Abcon does a great deal for our school and we are grateful for their donation,” said Agnes.
The school is pleading with community members to donate books and participate in their book drive.
