Members of the EMPD Public Order Policing Task Team recovered a stolen vehicle in Hare Street in Buhle Park, last Thursday.
The white Kia LDV was found at 11.44am on the same morning it was stolen from the parking lot of the Spar Shopping Centre in Sunward Park, Boksburg.
The vehicle was found abandoned with its engine idling and its dashboard and door locks badly damaged.
It was towed to the SAPS Van Ryn Deep pound in Benoni for further investigation and safe-keeping.
The vehicle thieves are still at large.
