According to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station, 16 suspects were arrested in the Primrose area between April 25 and May 2.
The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included the possession of drugs, possession of house break-in implements, house break-in and theft, possession of suspected stolen property, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault and incitement to commit a crime.
The Primrose SAPS’s station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
