According to the latest arrest statistics released by the Germiston Police Station, 91 suspects were arrested between April 22 and 29.

Charges included:
Possession of dagga: 15
Driving under the influence of alcohol: 26
Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 6
Intimidation: 7
Theft: 3
Shoplifting: 7
Malicious damage to property: 2
Business break-in: 1
Rape: 3
Dealing in liquor without a license: 1
Armed robbery: 2
Common assault: 4
Fraud: 2
Contempt of court: 2
Possession of an unlicensed firearm: 1
Possession of suspected stolen property: 1
House break-in: 1
Reckless and negligent driving: 1
Possession of a hijacked motor vehicle: 1
Business robbery: 3
Conspiracy: 2

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
