Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) firefighters responded swiftly to a flat fire in Beaconsfield Avenue, on Thursday.

“The quick response time saved what could have been a truly disastrous incident,” said William Ntladi, district manager media liaison for DEMS.
