Eagles soar to the top of the league
The Elsburg Eagles Cricket Club has clinched the Easterns Cricket League’s Promotion League title after beating United Cricket Club, from Brakpan, in the final. The final match of the season was played at the Eagles’ home ground, the Elsburg Eagles Main Oval in Dinwiddie, recently. Though the sun was shining, the pitch was damp at the beginning of the match.
