According to the latest arrest statistics released by the Germiston Police Station, 54 suspects were arrested between April 9 and 15.

The accused were arrested for various offences including:
Possession of dagga: 15
Driving under the influence of alcohol: 8
Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 2
Interfering with police duties: 2
Malicious damage to property: 3
Theft: 9
Kidnapping: 1
Shoplifting: 3
Theft out of a motor vehicle: 1
Business break-in: 2
Perjury: 1
Illegal gambling: 1
Attempted business break-in: 1
Intimidation: 1
Common assault: 7

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
