Alta de Beer, the Ward 39 councillor, will be on sick leave until May 25 to recover from an operation.
Residents are urged to log all service, billing and other complaints with the metro’s call centre on 0860 543 000 to obtain a reference number.
Once the call is logged and if no response is received from the metro within the service level response time, four hours for water, electricity and sewerage, then kindly escalate to Clr Wendy Morgan on email wendy.morgan@ekurhuleni.gov.za or via WhatsApp to 072 963 9675.
Kindly include in your email/WhatsApp the following information: the reference number, the address and a short description of the issue and a contact number.
