Germiston youngsters have a ball at camp

The First Germiston Cubs and Scouts had a wonderful time at a recent camp.

It was all about fun for the First Germiston Cubs and Scouts when they attended a camp recently.

The excited children spent the weekend at WagonDrift Lodge in the Dinokeng and Rust De Winter area.

They had a wonderful time, walking, swimming, star-gazing, wildlife watching, learning about snakes, campfires and even making Plaster of Paris spoors.

First Germiston Cubs and Scouts have fun in the swimming pool at their recent camp.

The Cubs and Scouts also made water scopes to see what is living in the watering hole, getting in touch with nature and seeing what she has to offer.

Youngsters are invited to join the Cubs and Scouts and enjoy all the fun.

The first Germiston Cubs hold meetings on a Thursday from 5.30pm to 7pm and the Scouts meetings also take place on a Thursday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
