Man killed at Silumaview tavern, father searches for killers

Three men were arrested by the Katlehong police on a charge of murder after being handed over by the victim’s father.

Three men, aged between 28 and 35, were recently arrested by the Katlehong police on a charge of murder.

The arrest was made after the victim’s father brought the men to the Katlehong Police Station.

“It is reported that the suspects and the deceased were at a Silumaview tavern having drinks when an argument broke out.

“The argument became physical and the victim was found dead in a pool of blood with a stab wound to the upper body,” explained Capt Mega Ndobe, communications official for the Katlehong police.

The victim’s father took it upon himself to find the men allegedly responsible for the murder.

The men were questioned and their case handed over to an elite team of detectives who specialise in cases such as these.

The men will appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
