Woman airlifted to hospital following multi-vehicle accident on N3 highway in Germiston
ER24 responded to an accident on the N3 highway on Sunday.
Two people are in a critical condition after a multi-vehicle collision involving a truck took place on the N3 north highway in Germiston, on Sunday morning.
“At approximately 7.30am ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found a woman, believed to be in her 30s, entrapped in her vehicle,” said Annine Siddall, spokesperson for ER24.
“Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services personnel later extracted her from the car.”

The woman was airlifted by the ER24 and One Plan Medical helicopter to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
A man believed to be in his 40s, was found lying next to the truck and was treated and transported to hospital for further care.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on scene for further investigations,” Siddall said.
