Three nabbed for theft of a motor vehicle

Three men apprehended on a charge of theft of a motor vehicle in Primrose.

The Primrose police arrested three men, aged between 23 and 25 years old, on a charge of theft of a motor vehicle, last Tuesday.

It is reported that the vehicle was stolen from Scorpia Street in Fishers’ Hill.

“The complainant told police when opening a case at the Primrose Police Station that he was visiting a friend when his vehicle was stolen,” said the communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.

During the police’s investigation the vehicle was found in Kensington and the three men were arrested.

“We are once again appealing to the community and their visitors not to leave their vehicles parked in the street or on the pavement as it is not safe,” said Maome.

The suspects will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
