Busy week for Primrose police

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

It was a busy week for the Primrose police with 35 arrests between February 8 and 13.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

Suspects were arrested on a number of different charges.

Crimes included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, house robbery, dealing in dagga, illegal possession of gold dust, dealing in liquor without a license, malicious damage to property, shoplifting, contempt of court and trespassing.

The Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
