Be on the lookout for these vehicles

Primrose residents are urged to be on the lookout for several vehicles allegedly being used in crimes in the area.

The Primrose police have issued a warning to the community to be on the lookout for the following vehicles:

• A white Toyota Quantum with an unknown registration and tinted windows.

The vehicle has reportedly been used it two business robberies.

“The vehicle is also reportedly used in robberies. The criminals use the guise of the vehicle being a taxi and then rob passengers,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

• A gold Mazda Etude with the registration VZY 148 GP, which has been seen at the scene of several house robberies in Primrose.

• A white bakkie is reportedly being used in hijackings by a suspect who is allegedly disguises himself as an EMPD officer in full uniform.

• A red Renault Sandero with an unknown registration, reportedly used in a business robbery in Primrose.

• A blue Opel with an unknown registration, reportedly used during thefts out of motor vehicles in Primrose.

If you have seen any of these vehicles, contact the Primrose SAPS on 011 842 0548 or 071 675 6864/5/6/7/8/9.
