Katlehong nab five suspects

Katlehong police arrested five suspects in daily stop-and-search operations.

In an effort to be visible within the community the Katlehong police have continued to hold stop-and-search operations in the area.

During a recent operation, held by members of the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit, officers arrested five suspects.

The accused were arrested on a number of different charges.

They included rape, common assault, assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, malicious damage to property and possession of dagga.

The suspects all appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
