Convictions attained by Germiston SAPS detectives

Germiston SAPS detectives reveal recent convictions.

Germiston SAPS detectives have made numerous arrests recently.

The accused were arrested on charges ranging from drug possession to shoplifting.

Of the 17 people arrested for drug possession, seven were cautioned and discharged while the other 11 paid admission of guilt fines of between R50 and R300.

Five people were apprehended for shoplifting and paid admission of guilt fines of between R300 and R1 000.

One person was arrested for theft and paid an admission of guilt fine of R300, while another who was apprehended for fraud had to pay a R4 000 fine or face four months’ imprisonment.
