Vehicle theft and theft out of vehicles remain a problem in Primrose

Police urge residents to stop parking their vehicles on pavements.

The Primrose Police are appealing to the community of Primrose, and their visitors, to refrain from parking their vehicles on the pavements as it isn’t safe.

“We have registered a number of cases related to vehicle theft and theft out of vehicles recently,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose Police.

“Despite this, the community is still leaving their vehicles unattended or parked on the pavements making them easily accessible to criminals.”

Residents are urged to park their vehicles inside their yards or in a secure parking area.
