The Katlehong police arrested 28 suspects during several different operations last weekend.
The operations, held from January 5 to 7, were conducted by officers from the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit and detectives from the Katlehong Police Station.
The accused were arrested for various crimes.

Charges included common assault, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, domestic violence, child neglect, intimidation, theft, rape, house break-in and theft, possession of suspected stolen copper, driving under the influence of alcohol, shoplifting and possession of dagga.
All of the suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
