Man injured after veering off highway in Germiston

The driver veered off the highway and crashed down the embankment near the N3 interchange.

Netcare 911 responded to an accident alert at about 11pm on Monday night.

The incident took place near the N3 interchange in Germiston.

“A male driver in his 40s veered off the highway and crashed down an embankment a few kilometres away from the N3 interchange,” said Tebogo Magoro, marketing and communication officer for Netcare 911.

“On arrival paramedics attended to the patient, who sustained moderate to serious injuries to various parts of his body.

“He was stabilised and transported to hospital.”
