Primrose SAPS make 27 arrests

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

Twenty-seven suspects were nabbed in the Primrose area between December 11 and 17.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

The accused were charged with a variety of different crimes.

These included armed robbery, possession of drugs, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, theft, motor vehicle theft, driving under the influence of alcohol, dealing in liquor without a licence, common assault, trespassing and contempt of court.

Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
