Man arrested for Katlehong South murder

Woman’s body discovered in open field with head injuries, boyfriend arrested.

Officers from the Katlehong Police Station arrested a 35-year-old man last Tuesday in connection with the death of his 27-year-old girlfriend.

The woman’s body was found in an open field with visible injuries to her head.

“It is reported that the victim was last seen with her boyfriend during New Year celebrations in the area,” explained Capt Mega Ndobe of the Ekurhuleni West Cluster.

The man was taken to the Katlehong Police Station where he was charged with murder.

He will appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
