Hot and uncomfortable weather conditions expected over Gauteng

Weather service issues several warnings.

The hot and humid weather is set to continue in Gauteng heading into the weekend, this is according to the South African Weather Service.

Temperatures are will remain in the high 20’s to low 30’s till Sunday.

In addition today the South African Weather Service released warnings of:

Extremely hot conditions are expected over parts of Gauteng.

Hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions.

Veld fires are expected in places in Gauteng due to the hot weather.

Residents are urged to take precautions when travelling and be sure their vehicles and animals have appropriate shelter.
