Primrose police issue festive season warning

Be alert and aware heading into the festive season.

With the festive season fast approaching, the Primrose police are urging residents to take special precautions.

“We are appealing to the community to be careful, especially when entering or leaving their premises,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

The warning comes after an increase in violent crimes such as hijackings, house break-in, armed robberies and business robberies.

“We will double our efforts to make Primrose a safe place to be, but we also appeal for support from our community,” Maome said.
