Community cares for animals
The Germiston SPCA Christmas Cheer Fund is continuing to grow.
It was another great week of fund-raising for the Germiston SPCA with the Christmas Cheer Fund growing by another R7 430.
This brings the total to R73 800 so far.
The SPCA thanks the community and businesses for opening their hearts to the animals.
With the festive season upon us many animals will need the Germiston SPCA’s help and the fund will be used to care for them over the festive period.
All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated and donors will be acknowledged in the GCN on a weekly basis.
When making your donation, please give your first name and surname so that you can be thanked properly in the GCN.
Donations can be made at the Germiston SPCA’s kennels in Junction Road, Driehoek or paid straight into the Germiston SPCA’s bank account.

Apart from the Christmas Cheer Fund donations this week the Germiston SPCA also received a number of donations from other fund-raising initiatives.
The following fund-raisers were held where the Germiston SPCA was a beneficiary:

• Movie night by Remarkable Affair: R6 093.33
• Balwin Charity Hat Walk: R122 000
The total amount donated from the fund-raisers was R132 497.33.
