Police nab suspects in Primrose for various crimes

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police kicked-off their festive season with 35 arrests.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.

The accused were arrested for various offences between December 4 and 10.

Charges included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, malicious damage to property, house break-in and theft, theft out of motor vehicle, theft, driving under the influence of alcohol, dealing in liquor without a licence, shoplifting, warrant of arrest and contempt of court.

The Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successful arrests.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
