Help needed to find patient’s family

The social workers at the Bertha Gxowa Hospital are trying to locate the family of this unknown man. He is a patient at the hospital.

Second stolen Ford Ranger recovered in Spruitview Gardens street

Working on GPS co-ordinates given to them by a vehicle tracking company, members of the EMPD Public Order Policing (POP) Unit recovered an orange Ford Ranger GP, recently. The recovery took place at about 6pm. The vehicle had been stolen in Midrand and the EMPD officers tracked it to Mokgothu Street in Spruitview Gardens.

Hijacked vehicle tracked to Primrose

When Primrose police arrived at a house in Blackwood Road in Primrose last Tuesday, after responding to a complaint of house robbery, they found a gold Volkswagen parked in the driveway. While officers were investigating, members of the EMPD, accompanied by personnel from a local tracking company, arrived at the home.

Beware of alleged conmen in Primrose

The Primrose police recently released a warning to the community. “We are urging the community to be aware of a suspect in a light grey Toyota Corolla with an unknown registration who is visiting residents and claiming to be collecting information for Stats SA,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Wrestlers prepare for tough championships

The Raptors Wrestling Club in Oak Avenue Primrose was the host of the South African Wrestling Federation’s (SAWF) Commonwealth Championships training camp, recently. The camp saw the South African national team, with wrestlers from Johannesburg, Pretoria, Roodepoort, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and even Cape Town, training together in preparation for the championships.
