Driveway sale raises much-needed funds for home

Community comes out to support home.

Meloney Tudor from the Avril Elizabeth Home had a wide array of delectable goodies for sale at the home’s driveway sale last Saturday.

The Avril Elizabeth Home held a fun-filled driveway sale last Saturday.

There were pancakes, breyani, pickles, sweets, lucky packets, jewellery, second-hand clothing, books, bric n brac, cookies, cakes and lovely Christmas stocking fillers on sale and the money raised from the sale went towards making Christmas special for all the residents.

Bringing warmth to residents

Angela Pawley sold a variety of Avril Elizabeth Home merchandise and sold raffle tickets to help raise funds for the home at the driveway sale last Saturday.

Kendell Correia (back), Abigail (11) and Lerina Chisholm made sure everyone was well fed with delicious pancakes and beautifully decorated cupcakes at the Avril Elizabeth Home driveway sale last Saturday.

Trevor Godwin (back), Linda Spangenberg and Ncedisa Mtimkalu were in charge of the book stall.

While her family browsed at the sale Courtney Neen (7) had some fun on one of the swings at the Avril Elizabeth Home last Saturday.
