Trust gives children food parcels

Peermont Children’s Trust (PCT) helps make Christmas a good one for youngsters.

Thomas Masango, the administrator of the Peermont Children’s Trust (PCT), one of Peermont Global’s flagship Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programmes, visited the seven primary school aftercare centres supported by the trust in Ekurhuleni to hand out food parcels to the centre’s learners ahead of the December holidays, last Wednesday.

Apart from these parcels, the learners who attend the trust supported aftercare centres also receive food parcels before the mid-year school holidays, are given uniforms at the start of each school year, are treated to a Christmas party annually and benefit from a feeding scheme and supervised aftercare during school terms.

In total nearly 650 youngsters, who attend the seven aftercare centres supported by the trust, benefited from this handover.

Learners who attend the Reahile Primary Aftercare Centre in Katlehong, and are from Reahile, Izibuko, Monde, Tamaho and Mogobeng primary schools received their food packages.
