Man found with stolen vehicle in Knights

Man apprehended by Primrose police for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

While on patrol in Knights last Saturday, officers from the Primrose Police Station came across a vehicle on its roof.

The vehicle’s 29-year-old driver had already managed to climb out of the vehicle when police approached the scene.

“Officers became suspicious when the driver was unable to talk properly and noted that he allegedly smelt of alcohol,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Police checked the vehicle’s registration plates and discovered that it had been reported stolen at the Elsburg Police Station.
