Busy week for Primrose police

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

It was a busy week for the Primrose police with the arrest of 42 suspects.

The arrests were made between October 16 and 22, according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged for a number of different offences including possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless and negligent driving, house robbery, theft, fraud, dealing in liquor without a license, dealing in dagga, malicious damage to property, warrant of arrest, trespassing and contempt of court.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
