On the Menu: Food you just can’t refuse at The Godfather Pizzeria and Restaurant
The Godfather Pizzeria and Restaurant offers a variety of tasty food to tempt the tastebuds.
To quote iconic novel character Don Vito Corleone, from the pen of Mario Puzo: “I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse.”
And that is exactly what The Godfather Pizzeria and Restaurant on Rietfontien Road in Primrose, is doing.
They are offering the community delicious food they simply can’t resist or refuse.
Though the restaurant officially opened its doors three years ago, Johan van Wyk took over ownership last year.
“I took over in August 2016,” van Wyk said when he sat down with the GCN.
When asked what makes The Godfather special, van Wyk said, “I think what makes us stand out from others is the variety of the food we offer, which includes our Sunday buffet lunch.”
The restaurant also prides itself on the quality of the food it produces.
Before leaving, the GCN asked van Wyk about his favourite meal on the menu.
“That’s a hard one because everything is so amazing but, if I had to choose, I’d choose The Godfather pizza, which also seems to be a hit with the community,” he said.
