Almost a year after being attacked and stabbed in the Makause informal settlement a man was surprised to meet his alleged attacker in Giyani, Limpopo, recently.
“The victim was one of two men allegedly stabbed by the accused in October 2016. The second man died at the scene.
“After the crime, the 49-year-old man who was known to both victims disappeared,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

The victim reported the sighting to the Giyani police who swiftly arrested the accused.
“He was handed over to the Primrose police and was formally charged with murder and attempted murder,” said Maome.
“This is a clear example of how criminals cannot escape the long arm of the law.”
The suspect will soon appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
