Breaking News: Germiston SAPS member arrested on charges of double murder, attempted murder

The constable is due to appear in court on Wednesday.

Police arrested a 33-year-old Germiston SAPS constable today after he was implicated in a double murder and attempted murder.

The case which dates back to 2013 is currently being heard in court and one suspect has been convicted.

“During court proceedings the constable was named as an accomplice,” said Col Lungelo Dlamini, spokesperson for the Gauteng Provincial SAPS.

The double murder and attempted murder took place in the Germiston policing area.

The constable is due to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
