Patrollers receive generous donation

Rand Airport donates to Lambton Klip Sector Four CPF.

The monthly meeting of the Lambton Klip Sector Four CPF (LKCPF), recently, at Afrikaanse Hoërskool Germiston, held a big surprise for the CPF’s patrollers.

Due to their assistance at the recent Rand Airshow, Rand Airport donated a whopping R35 000 to aid the patrollers and CPF in their work.

The Lambton Klip Sector Four CPF patrollers and invited guests at the LKCPF meeting on Thursday, held at Afrikaanse Hoërskool Germiston. Currently, the CPF has 55 patrollers with more in training.

Manager of Rand Airport, Stuart Coetzee, said the 35 patrollers gave them more help than the EMPD and SAPS did.

“We would like to work with more of them next year and the donation is to show our appreciation for their effort and planning.

“We told them what we wanted and they delivered more than what was expected of them.”
