Brand new look for Lambton store

Local store re-launches with a stunning, new look.

Pick n Pay Lambton was a hive of activity on Thursday morning as the store unveiled its revamped look to the public.

Owner Jacques van Wyk said, “It was time to do a revamp and give the store a new look and feel.”

He is proud of the way the store has turned out and shoppers were excited to make their way through the spacious, well-stocked aisles.

The renovations started three months ago and van Wyk said that they appreciate the loyalty and patience of their customers and staff during this time.

“Thank you to all our customers who have stuck with us,” he said.

The store boasts many new features which will make shopping more enjoyable and convenient for customers.

They have added a money counter, which makes paying bills more convenient, which also features a cellphone section for all your mobile phone needs.

Then, to add to shoppers delight, on the floor they have opened a clothing store section, installed a water bar (where shoppers can refill their bottles of water), made a proper wine section, as well as a dedicated tea and coffee section.

A special balloon bar has been set up next to the money counter, which caters to all your balloon requirements, as well as offering other party items.

“For customers convenience we have put all our service areas together and dramatically increased our general merchandise range,” van Wyk said.

Staff and management are also excited about the electronic shelving pricing labels and van Wyk believes this will alleviate pricing discrepancies.

He added that if customers are battling to find items with the new look there are small floor plans available at the information counter to assist them.

In an effort to make sure they stock everything their customers need, customers are welcome to email jvanwyk@pnp.co.za if they cannot find a specific item on the shelves.

“We have a fresh, new store and we are here to give people good service,” van Wyk said.
