Community to clean-up Elsburg

Make your area a place to be proud of by getting involved in the clean-up.

The Elsburg community will be out in full force on Saturday cleaning up their suburb.

Everyone is welcome to pitch in and help tidy up the area.

The community should meet at the Elsburg Town Hall in Park Lane at 9am and from there the following areas will be cleaned:

• van Riebeeck Street.

• Machine Street.

• Portions of Voortrekker Street.

• The open area around van Wyk Street, Kruger Street and Els Street (community hall).

• The metro stand opposite the wrestling hall in Mare Street.

• The open area in front of the Elsburg Town Hall in Park Lane.

• The open area between Voortrekker Street and the Town Hall.

• Area around the Elsburg Station in Els Street.

Ward 39 councillor Alta de Beer will have an information table available for unemployed residents and small businesses, including youth driven initiatives, to register for future potential metro ward projects. Both lists will be transparent to the community and project allocation will be done according to the ranking on the list.
