During a recent stop-and-search, held in Katlehong, police arrested seven suspects.
The operation was held by the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit in their continued efforts to curb crime in the area.
Five of the arrested suspects were charged with common assault while the remaining two were charged with possession of dagga.
The accused appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
