Primrose police release their arrest statistics

Primrose police arrested 37 suspects for various crimes in the area.

It was a busy week for the Primrose police as they arrested 37 suspects between July 30 and August 6.

The suspects were arrested for various crimes, including possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of suspected stolen property, murder, hijacking, malicious damage to property, concealment of birth and shoplifting.

The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and some of the cases were postponed.

Some of the suspects paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
