The Gauteng SAPS Provincial Commissioner Lt Gen Deliwe de Lange recently expressed her shock at the ruthless murder of two elderly women (a mother and her daughter), aged 70 and 91, at a house in Webber Road, Lambton.

2. Atlas Road accident: Family looking for injured mother’s father who may be in Germiston: https://bit.ly/2u14qgf

The family of Monica van Loggerenberg, the mother who lost two of her children in an accident on Atlas Road a week ago, is urgently looking for her father. Simon Lodewyk Oelofse (59)who was last seen in the Germiston area in January/February, selling goods on the side of the road.

4. Security guard gunned down in the Germiston CBD: https://bit.ly/2uhJ4LM

A 45-year-old man was murdered on the corner of Plantation Road and Railway Street in the Germiston CBD, recently. The victim, who worked as a security guard at a nearby business, was approached by two suspects who began shooting at him.

5. National News – Woman shot 13 times on her way to catch a taxi: https://bit.ly/2vrxPz6

A woman was recently shot 13 times while on her way to catch a taxi in Soshanguve, Pretoria. The woman was thought to be in her late 20s. Her body was found on the street in block NN.
