Bowling club rolls-out donations

Delville Germiston Bowling Club cares for the animals at the Germiston SPCA.

The Germiston SPCA received a donation of dog and cat food, among other things, from the Delville Germiston Bowling Club, last Saturday.

“We know that the SPCA is in need of help, and as a club, we felt we had to help somehow,” said a member of the Delville Germiston Bowling Club, Alana Warrender.

“After discussions, we decided to all collect different items to donate to the SPCA.

“For three weeks, club members have been bringing in their contributions.”

Warrender also said club members donated different items.

“We also collected tick and flea prevention products, blankets and toys,” said Warrender.

“Thank you to all club members who heeded the call to assist the SPCA and I hope it will make a difference.”
