Germiston SAPS investigate a case of murder.

A 45-year-old man was murdered on the corner of Plantation Road and Railway Street in the Germiston CBD, recently.

The victim, who worked as a security guard at a nearby business, was approached by two suspects who began shooting at him.

“The victim took two bullets to the chest and one in the back and died on the scene,” said Capt George Raphulu, head of communications for the Germiston SAPS.

“The suspects got away in their getaway vehicle, a white Honda Ballade with the registration number WSZ373GP.”

Raphulu added that no arrests have been made as yet.

“The motive for the murder is still unknown at this stage,” said Raphulu.
