Snap away and celebrate Camera Day today

Try different angles on Camera Day.

Camera lovers will be thrilled to know that today (June 29) is Camera Day.

While you might be tempted to snap away on this day, take some time to shift your focus on your camera itself.

For some, taking photos is a profession while others do it as a hobby, but truly speaking none of it would be possible without the camera itself.

Celebrate this day and appreciate your camera a bit more.

David Mbatha loves his camera and enjoys taking photos with it.

Find different ways to celebrate Camera Day, here are a few examples.

  • Clean your lens.
  • Clean the whole camera, research ways to best clean your camera and be careful of sensitive parts.
  • Give it a unique name, if you haven’t already.
  • Take it with you everywhere you go today, if you don’t already.

Be creative in celebrating this day.

People take photos of different things, including nature, family, friends and themselves.

So get out there and celebrate your camera and its capability to capture memories.
