Man allegedly shoots and kills man in Likole Section

Katlehong police investigate the motive behind a Likole Section shooting.

Katlehong police recently arrested a 55-year-old man in the Likole Section, of Katlehong, for murder.

The arrest was made after the accused allegedly shot a 34-year-old man in the upper body.

“Paramedics and police were called to the scene, where the victim was declared dead,” explained Capt Mega Ndobe, of the Ekurhuleni West cluster.

The accused was arrested and his licensed 9mm pistol confiscated.

“Police are investigating the motive behind the alleged murder,” said Ndobe.

The man will appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
